Connecting your bank account enables you to easily move money in and out of your TruckSmarter Wallet. TruckSmarter provides two ways to connect your bank account to TruckSmarter. Read on to learn more about how to connect your bank account to TruckSmarter!

Connect your bank account
TruckSmarter has partnered with Plaid to provide you with a secure and instant way to connect your bank account to TruckSmarter. You can learn more about Plaid here.
First, navigate to the Money tab and tap Manage accounts. You can also navigate to this page from the Profile tab → Manage linked bank accounts. Next, tap Add Account and select Continue to open the Plaid interface.
Continue the Plaid flow by searching for your bank and entering your bank account credentials. Note that the experience will vary from bank to bank. Some banks will redirect you to the bank's website or mobile app (assuming it is installed on your device). If necessary, you will have to agree to share your bank account data with Plaid.

After authenticating, the Plaid interface will display all of the depository (Checking and Savings) accounts that will be connected to TruckSmarter:
🎉 Success! You are now ready to transfer money in and out of your TruckSmarter Wallet using your connected bank accounts.
Delete your bank account
To delete your bank account connection, tap the trash can icon beside your bank account.
|💡 If you wish to revoke TruckSmarter's access to your bank data from Plaid, you must do so from the Plaid Portal.|
Reconnecting your bank account
If you previously linked your bank account manually, you will see an Update required badge on your bank account. This means that you can reconnect your bank account with Plaid. To update your manually linked bank account, tap the Reconnect now button to connect your bank account via Plaid.
Manually connect your bank account
If you are unable to connect your bank account via Plaid, you can manually connect your bank account details into TruckSmarter.
Navigate to the Money tab and tap Manage accounts. You can also navigate to this pane from the Profile tab → Manage linked bank accounts. Next, tap Add account and select Add account manually instead:
To complete the process, please have the following information ready:
- Account type
- Checking or Savings
- Account number
- ACH routing number (required)
- This is used for electronic transfers
- Wire routing number (optional)
- This is different than the ACH routing number — entering an incorrect number can lead to payment delays and additional charges
Edit your bank account (manual accounts only)
If you have manually connected your bank account, you can edit the information by tapping the pencil icon beside your bank account.
