1. Can I bid on loads in Dispatch?
Not right now—Dispatch doesn’t support bidding. You can only book loads directly when they’re available to you.
2. Can I book loads in Dispatch?
Yes! If the broker supports it, you can instantly book loads right from Dispatch—no calls or emails needed.
3. How do I contact the broker?
Each load includes the broker’s contact info. If you have any questions, just tap to call or email them directly from the app.
4. What’s the difference between the Load Board and Dispatch?
Great question!
The load board simply consolidates load options into one place. Dispatch takes that a step further, verifying loads that meet your preferences directly with brokers. In doing so, it trims down the available load population and simplifies your bidding and booking process. Plus, with Dispatch, you unlock load selection not always available on our load board.
5. Do I still have free access to the Load Board?
Absolutely. The Load Board is still 100% free to use.
6. Do I only see loads from brokers I’m signed up with?
No! In Dispatch, you'll see loads from brokers you already work with and from brokers you may not have worked with yet. That way, you get more options and a chance to build new broker relationships.
Heads up: If we reach out to a broker and they’re not able to work with you (for example, if your authority is too new or you're missing documents), we will automatically exclude them from reach outs.
7. How do I get notified when new loads match my search?
You'll get notify via text when a new load matches occurs. You can also check the app anytime to see:
- Loads that match your filters
- Excluded loads (slightly outside your filters but still worth a look—you might find your next haul there!)
8. How do I update my search filters?
Super simple. Just open Dispatch in your TruckSmarter app, update your search preferences (like origin, destination, equipment type, etc.), and hit save. Your alerts will then update based on your new filters.
